About Mr. Norman
A native of Elberton, Georgia, Mr. Bret Norman has been teaching the sciences in both rural and urban schools since 2013. He is a graduate of Young Harris College, the University of Georgia, and the University of Souther California. He Specializes in nutritional biochemistry but curiously explores the world of biology thorough his teaching. At Maynard Jackson High School he has the pleasure of participating as part of the International Baccalaureate faculty as Year one IB Biology teacher. Before serving the amazing students at MJHS, Mr. Norman served as Honors Biology and AP Environmental Science teacher and as the Science Department Chair at Elbert County Comprehensive High School.
